Have you ever met a PMM who can't build?

We don't know any.

We’re Not Marketers…We’re Builders

Hey ya’ll.

It’s been a minute since we hopped on here to chat.

It's not you, it's us.

We've been buried deep in getting season 5 ready to go. Had to dust off the cobwebs...literally.

And it got us thinking about how important it is to build something.

Not just help someone else build their thing. (Looking at you, CEO with zero funny bone.)

So let’s build, shall we?

It’s Launch week…

You've written perfect messaging. Sales has their deck. PM shipped the feature.

Day 1: Help desk flooded. Users confused. Sales asking "where's the one-pager?"

Day 3: You're frantically creating the same explanation in 6 different formats.

Never again. 🦎 Chameleon Demos lets you record one product walkthrough and generates:

  • Interactive demo + in-app tours

  • Messaging Sales enablement + help docs

  • Email templates + social copy

One recording. Complete launch kit. Same messaging everywhere.

Finally—a launch that actually launched.

Two traits live deep in every PMM's ribcage:

  1. They have empathy out the wazoo

  2. They love to build

Unfortunately, both of those traits get pushed down to the surface because:

  1. Founders don’t have an empathetic bone in their body

  2. The only thing we’re allowed to build is slide decks

They've got empathy rattling around their bones.

And they love to build.

Unfortunately...

Both of those traits get buried six feet under because:

Founders don't have an empathetic bone in their body.

And the only thing we're allowed to build?

Slide decks.

(Talk about dead weight.)

But here's the thing...

Those tides are turning.

Because as of last month, I can vibe code a feature prototype and test it with customers before anyone knows what hit their funny bone.

And when that testing data shows our customers got zero value?

I'm either the hero...

Or I'm dead to them.

But however you want to look at it...

I'm still more valuable than I was 2 months ago.

And I'm not the only bag of bones who's been vibe coding.

Gab's doing it too.

And it's only a matter of days until Zach gets hooked.

Right down to his bones.

So here's my question:

You can build any app or website in the world...

Why sit around building slide decks until you're skin and bones?

Why end your 9-to-5 deader than a doornail with nothing else to rattle your cage?

Take We're Not Marketers...

The story of building something out of thin air.

(Which is all I breathe anyway.)

Whether it's early morning before the graveyard shift...

Or after the day gets buried...

I know I have something that gives my bones life.

Same goes with DemoDash and Jason Oakley.

Six-figure business in six months.

Just because one day we said we could.

(Guess our skeletons weren't stuck in the closet after all.)

And there's nothing special about how we did it.

I promise I get up and creak in the morning just like you do.

But if you want my bare-bones process:

  • Not being afraid to build something that might be dead on arrival

  • Letting myself get pulled toward what gets my bones rattling with excitement

  • Giving it everything in short bursts until I'm dead tired

With those three things rattling around in my skull...

I've co-launched two of the most exciting parts of my afterlife.

And next month? The third rises from the grave.

All because building is in my bones.

Just like it's in yours too.

P.S. SEASON 5…COMING SOON
